Zoom! Teeth Whitening
Your smile is important. It’s one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. A whiter, brighter smile is beautiful – it can help you feel better about yourself and make a memorable impression. Your lifestyle and the ageing process can stain and darken your teeth. Many things we do on a regular basis can contribute to stained teeth, such as drinking coffee, tea, cola and red wine or smoking.
Take a first step in feeling good and looking great with brighter, whiter teeth in less than an hour. Zoom! teeth whitening is safe, effective and very fast.
Whitening can get your smile looking its best. Non-professional procedures and clinically unproven teeth whitening tips can often lead to unsatisfactory results, you should look for a whitening procedure that is:
- Fast and convenient
- Long lasting
- Low sensitivity
- Proven to be safe and effective
- Performed by a Dental Professional
Other whitening systems don’t compare to the Zoom! Chairside Whitening System. Nothing whitens better or faster. Take a first step to feeling good, looking great. You owe it to yourself!
Book your Zoom appointment today. Making an appointment to whiten your teeth is easy! Just call 0161 491 0022 Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm our team are here to answer any questions you may have about Zoom!
They say that the secret to a beautiful smile is great teeth and while this may not be perfectly true, a gleaming set of pearly whites certainly looks fantastic. But for many of us, gleaming white teeth is more of a dream than a reality, especially with the daily exposure to substances like cola, tea, smoke, acidic juices and highly pigmented foods. However, there are some simple things you can do to minimise and remove teeth stains.
In fact, teeth are never naturally completely white – they tend to be a light yellow. However, they do tend to darken as they age and with constant use. This is because the surface enamel cracks and erodes, which exposes the dentine – this is more porous and thus absorbs food colours and pigmentation. In addition, stains can also grip onto the plaque and tartar build-up on teeth.
First impressions count. So imagine if every time you smiled you had 100% confidence that your teeth were as straight and as sparkling as a movie star. With dental veneers, now you can. By choosing veneers – wafer-thin, specially shaped porcelain pieces that attach to the front of the teeth – you really are saying goodbye to stained, crooked, protruding, damaged or rotting teeth (and even gaps!) forever.
Veneers are wafer-thin laminates or shells of tooth-coloured material (porcelain, ceramic or composite bonding material) that are cemented to the front surface of the teeth to improve their cosmetic appearance.
Think of veneers in the same way you would think of false fingernails. Veneers work in exactly the same way – in a quick, painless and straightforward procedure they are bonded to the front of your existing teeth, leaving you with a smile that is simply perfect.
What makes veneers so special is their versatility. Here are just a few reasons why so many people come to Foxland Dental for veneers, and why they recommend them, and us, time and time again:
Damaged and Chipped Teeth – They get chipped through accidents that can sometimes occur and damaged through decay caused by too much sugary food in your diet. Patients who grind their teeth or have an uneven bite tend to wear their teeth down. Your teeth can be repaired easily with porcelain veneers. They can be matched so that they have the same look and colour to match your other teeth so that you get a look that is natural.
Stained Teeth – Just like your face ages so do your teeth. Sometimes teeth whitening does not work because the stains are ingrained through food and drink such as wine, tea and coffee or through smoking then dental veneers are an option for you. They are designed to hide any existing stains that cannot be removed by other means and hides any marks on your existing teeth.
Crooked Teeth – Appearance is becoming more important than ever before. If you suffer from crooked teeth they really can be very problematic. Dental veneers provide the answer when it comes to problems like crooked teeth. Although dental veneers may not be the first choice for crooked teeth (with correction taking up to a year, or longer with braces) for teeth that are not overly crooked, dental veneers can be placed over the front of of crooked tooth to give a straight appearance.
Gaps – Have you ever wanted a more balanced looking smile? The spaces and gaps between your teeth create the balance in your smile and uneven gaps can spoil otherwise perfect teeth. If you have an uneven gap between your teeth it is the first thing people see whenever you open your mouth. Veneers solve this problem by completely closing all the gaps between your teeth.
Porcelain veneers usually last between 5 and 10 years if you ensure that you take good care of them and have good dental hygiene. On the other hand composite veneers might last for a year or two at the most. To make your dental veneers last longer it is important to follow a good oral hygiene programme and also make sure that you visit our surgery for check-ups on a regular basis, ideally every 6 months.
A visit to our hygienist is a painless and enjoyable experience. They will ensure that your teeth and gums are maintained for life, so not only will they feel healthy but look beautiful as well giving you the confidence to smile!
Here at Foxland Dental our friendly hygienist believes that “prevention is better than cure”, so as well as removing soft and hard deposits from teeth, we also teach patients how to practice good oral hygiene, and provide other preventive dental care.
Our dental hygienist also helps patients develop and maintain good oral health. For example, they may explain the relationship between diet and oral health or inform patients how to select toothbrushes and show them how to brush and floss their teeth.
Dental hygiene is a very important part of keeping a healthy smile.
