Dr. Reena Aggarwal
Principal Dr. Reena Aggarwal established Foxland Dental Surgery in October 2005 and, as well as being the owner and head of the practice, is also an active practising NHS and private dental surgeon.
Foxland Dental Surgery has recently been renovated and expanded, offering state-of-the-art facilities.
Reena qualified in 2001 with a BDS degree from the university of Manchester Dental School. She worked between 2001 and 2005 as a dental associate in Wigan, Manchester and Cheshire, gaining invaluable clinical experience prior to opening Foxland Dental Surgery in 2005.
Reena keeps an active interest in maintaining her clinical knowledge and skills, regularly courses and presentations. She is an extremely approachable and a personable dentist and her manner, is especially endearing to children, putting them at ease.
Dr.Lena Burns BDS
I graduated from the University of Manchester in 1990. I was awarded prizes from the Medical Insurance Agency and Manchester Dental School for my elective in oral medicine which I carried out at Singapore Dental School.
Since qualifying I have worked in general dental practice in the Manchester area and have worked both within the NHS and for many years purely privately.
I joined Foxland Dental Surgery in 2014 and provide a mix of both private and NHS treatments.
I am committed to ongoing post graduate education and to keeping up to date with new techniques. I completed a year long course in restorative dentistry and a year long practical aesthetic course. I offer ethical clinical advice to anyone considering cosmetic treatment
Outside of dentistry I am mum to two daughters, one of whom is following in my footsteps and is studying dentistry. I am also an aerialist and have performed both overseas and in this country.
Ishaq Mahmood BDS MFDS RCSEd
I graduated from Liverpool Dental School in 2012. In order to gain more experience, I worked in the busy Oral and Maxillofacial Department of Aintree Hospital.
Since qualifying, I have undertaken several courses to enable me to provide the best care for my patients.
Currently, I am training to place dental implants and am also working towards a teaching qualification. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with colleagues, and working with the team here at Foxland Dental surgery.
I enjoy helping anxious patients manage their fears and help them be comfortable with their dental treatment.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures.

Dr Haider Al-saffar BDS Mpharm MRPhamS MJDF RCS (Eng) PGCertTLCP
Haider qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2015 with Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and was awarded a Distinction in Restoration Dentistry,Haider also won the prestigious Frank Laton Medal ( excellent in operative dental surgery) and Tom Pitt-Ford Prize (Endodontic), he then went on to win the Foundation Dentist Prize in Endodontic by the British Endodontic Society in 2016.
Since qualification Haider decided to take, his qualifications further and gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons of England ( MJDF RCS (Eng) in 2017. He also undertook further postgraduate training across many dental disciplines. Haider main interest is in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. As well as this, he has develop a keen interest in Endodontics.
Haider has been a Honorary Clinical Tutor at the Liverpool University Dental Hospital and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and learning in Clinical Practice ( PGCertTLCP) at Edgehill University 2018.
Haider received a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Bradford ( MPharm) in 2010 with Distinction in his Master dissertation, and is a Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (MPharm). Winning awards along the way, C +D runner up pre-Reg Graduate Pharmacist of the Year and Numark Pre-Reg Student Pharmacist of the Year in 2011.
